Sigma Gamma Rho is a national collegiate sorority incorporated in 1922. Over the years, Sigma Gamma Rho has served as a home for thousands of collegiate and professional women looking for a place to share inspiring life experiences, learn new things, conquer life challenges, thrive in society, and uplift the community through sisterhood, scholarship, and service. The dynamic women of Sigma Gamma Rho have built and sustained a well-known and highly respected reputation for leading positive change. We currently have more than 500 chapters in the United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, Germany, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates.

I became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. in 2016. I am proud to say my journey in Sigma influenced me to become an educator. Our legacy is in all facets of education.
As Basileus of the Legendary Sigma Sigma Alumnae Chapter from 2024-2026, I am honored to continue the legacy of Greater Service, Greater Progress. I have dedicated my life to service in education, and being a member of this chapter is no different. I serve humbly and am proud to see this chapter growing and still sensational despite a global pandemic.

National Service

Regional Service
Sigma Gamma Rho keeps their promise to serve, especially in the Mighty Western Region. The western region prides itself on its relentless to do what is right by the organization. The National Programs truly come to life as we explore the waters that flow up and down the coast of this country.
Local Service
Our local chapter is fueled by dedicated sisters committed to making Los Angeles a better, more progressive place. The Sigma Sigma chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho openly welcomes women aspiring to advance sisterhood, scholarship, and service.
Leadership
Sigma Gamma Rho has a diverse range of leadership development programs to empower and encourage women to seek leadership positions. Additionally, we encourage collegiate chapters and members to take advantage of student organization leadership training opportunities provided by their institutions.
